Ultavlar Ltd. Şti.’nin temeli, 1971 yılında Samsun’daki bir Proje Bürosu’nda atılmıştır. İnşaat Yüksek Mühendisi Halit ULTAV ve İnşaat Yüksek Teknikeri Haluk ULTAV’ın kurduğu bu proje bürosu, 1973 yılından sonra genel müteahhitlik firması olarak yoluna devam etmiştir.
